Raw Goat Milk for Dogs and Cats
by Katie Allan (http://www.agirlandherhusky.com)
One of the most popular items in our stores is our raw goat milk. Raw goat milk has many nutritional benefits for your pets.
Why give your dog raw goat milk? Raw goat milk is a natural source of probiotics and is easily digestible. Even many dogs with sensitive stomachs and digestive issues can handle goat milk. Raw goat milk is also packed with nutrients like vitamins, minerals, electrolytes, trace elements, enzymes, protein, and fatty acids. Raw goat milk can also help your dog with several different chronic conditions, such as liver disease, kidney disease, kidney stones, diabetes, GI disease, brain and nerve disorders, and heart disease.
I also tried raw goat milk with my own two dogs, Gracie and Echo.
What did Echo and Gracie think of the raw goat milk? I was unsure of how they would react to the milk since I had never given them any kind of liquid besides water. I was mostly expecting Echo to like it since he likes everything, but Gracie was a little more picky. She ended up loving the milk! She even licked her bowl clean and went over to see if Echo left any in his bowl. Not only was it good for them, but it was a yummy treat too click for info!
